Weddings at The Inn

Thank you for your interest in celebrating your wedding day at Bay View Terrace Inn! Our goal is your happiness and we will do everything possible to ensure your event is a success. From start to finish, our facility is the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day.

The lobby can serve as a reception area or pre-dinner gathering spot.  The wood-burning fireplace is surrounded by several overstuffed leather chairs, adding a casual and comfortable touch.

Our DeVol Room can be set up for 110. Tables are square or rectangular and both tables and chairs are oak, and original to the nearly 100-year old Inn.  The atmosphere is both rustic with massive hemlock beams, and elegant with crystal chandeliers.  Large windows with wavy glass and transoms above create an expansive feel to the 2,000 sq foot space, as does the 12-foot ceiling and ball-room style wood floor. 

Views from our dining room are of the variety of beech and maples and pretty Victorian Cottages surrounding the Inn.  The setting, just 3 blocks from Little Traverse Bay is a quiet and scenic one, and the town of Petoskey is just a mile away.

The Inn can provide an officiant for your ceremony ($150-200.00) as well as DJ music for your reception ($400 minimum-3 hours) We guarantee your guests from 4 to 84 will have a wonderful, wholesome evening of dancing and entertainment! Art and Vicki of Dance Classic can even provide private dance lessons in advance of your event! Our hard-working staff do all the work so you can enjoy your special day.
